Projects that make Hunter Adams say "Wow!"

A computer screen says "Hello"

Last semester's ECE 4760 Digital Systems Design Using Microcontrollers course with Lecturer Hunter Adams was focused on the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller. In the final segment of the course, the M.Eng. and undergrad students group into teams and design their own projects -- all with the goal of getting Hunter to say "Wow!"

Adams tries to create "labs with a low threshold for wonder." “Students often begin a lab assignment in a mindset of work," he says. "The goal is to get them quickly into the mindset of play. A well-designed lab can fundamentally change the way a student sees the world."
