"Cornell ECE Alum receives highest distinction, election to the National Academy of Engineering!!!"

Cornell ECE Alum Mark Adamiak EE '75, EE M.Eng. '76 was elected to the prestigious National Academy of Engineering (NAE).

According to a press release issued on February 9th - the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has elected 66 new members including Cornell ECE alum Mark Adamiak. Mr. Adamiak, who is now the Director of Advanced Technologies, GE Digital Energy, Wayne, Pa received his undergraduate degree from Cornell’s School of Electrical Engineering (now known as the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering) in 1975 and then went onto receive his Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering in 1976. The NAE decision to elect Mr. Adamiak was based on his “contributions to power system protection, control, monitoring, and communications”.
