Carlos Dorta-Quiñones, Cornell ECE Ph.D. Student
I was introduced to Cornell when I attended its summer college program as a junior in high school, and I enjoyed the multicultural and intellectual community that the school offers. The fact that Cornell is recognized as a global leader in the field of nanotechnology made it an obvious choice for my graduate studies later on.
Being a part of ECE at Cornell has given me the opportunity the engage in multidisciplinary research, applying nanotechnology to tackle important biomedical challenges related to health. In addition, I have been able to develop leadership skills working as a teaching assistant for graduate students and mentoring high school students.
