Biography:
Rajit Manohar is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, where his group conducts research on all aspects of asynchronous design: circuits, VLSI, system architecture, fault-tolerance, energy efficiency, and design automation. He received his B.S. (1994), M.S. (1995), and Ph.D. (1998) in Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology, and has been a member of the Cornell faculty since 1998 where he co-founded its Computer Systems Laboratory.
Research interests:
Prof. Manohar is interested in asynchronous VLSI design and architecture. His completed research projects include the design of a high-performance asynchronous microprocessor, the first ultra low power processor for sensor networks, and a GHz-speed asynchronous FPGA architecture.
