Cornell encourages all social media users to interact with the university and one another freely, but is not responsible for comments or wall posts made by visitors to or fans of the page. Comments posted by visitors and fans in no way reflect the views or policies of the university.

We ask that users making comments on our pages be respectful of their fellow visitors and maintain civil and rational discussions. All comments are subject to the social media channel's terms of use and code of conduct.

We reserve the right, but assume no obligation, to remove comments from and ban users that are racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, that advocate illegal activity, contain falsehoods or are wildly off-topic, or that libel, incite, threaten or make ad hominem attacks on Cornell students, employees, guests or other individuals. We also do not permit messages selling products or promoting commercial, political or other ventures.
